# Changing plans, managing billing and overage settings

> Change or cancel your plan, manage your card and invoices, and choose what happens when you reach your monthly limit.

## Required role and plan

- **View**: Viewer or higher

## Plan limits

See Settings → Billing and [Pricing](https://webhookadmin.com/en/#pricing) for prices. Prices exclude tax. Only live deliveries count toward monthly messages; retries, test sends and test environments do not.

## Move from Free to a paid plan

1. Open Settings → Billing.
2. Select Choose on the plan you want.
3. Enter your card on the payment page. When it completes, you return to the dashboard and your plan is updated.

## Change or cancel a paid plan

1. In Settings → Billing, select Choose on the new plan. To cancel, choose Free.
2. In the dialog, check the new monthly price, the amount due today, when it takes effect, and the features you will lose.
3. Select Switch, or Cancel subscription when cancelling.

- Upgrades take effect right away and the prorated difference is charged today. If the payment fails, the plan does not change.
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period. Until then, select Undo to keep your current plan.
- If you have more projects than the new plan allows, delete projects first.

## Choose what happens at the limit

On a paid plan, choose under When you reach the limit. The Free plan always stops at the limit.

| Option | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| Keep sending and bill overage | Messages over the limit are billed at $2.00 per 100k (¥300 for organizations billed in yen), excluding tax and rounded up, up to 5x your limit. Retries are not counted. |
| Stop sending | New messages are refused until the 1st of next month (UTC). |

## Manage your card and invoices

1. Select Manage billing in Settings → Billing.
2. Update your card or see invoices on the billing page that opens.

Organizations on a custom contract (Enterprise) cannot change plans here. [Contact us](https://webhookadmin.com/en/contact/) to change your contract.
